COVID-19 Update

GREEN BAY WI (March 17, 2020) –  We recognize the trust you place in us when you choose our products.  That’s why we want to share an update on the proactive measures we are taking at Carnivore Meat Company to help keep you and our employees safe amidst the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

We are following the recommendations of the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO).  Our employees have been given guidelines and we continue to reinforce these guidelines, such as frequent and appropriate handwashing and disinfecting their work areas thoroughly as well as adhering to the safe distance recommendations, as we are committed to help keeping them safe.  As additional precautionary measures, we have temporarily suspended travel, and have asked non-essential visitors to postpone “in-person” meetings at our facilities.

While the current situation is anything but “business as usual”, we are operating at all three of our Green Bay, Wisconsin manufacturing facilities.   We have been proactively bolstering our inventories of all products for the past several weeks, and because of this, we do not expect any disruptions to the availability of our products.

Its also important to note that, as a result of our long-standing commitment to a USA sourced protein raw material supply, our USA packaging providers, and our robust food safety system, we are very well positioned to maintain a safe and reliable supply of finished goods.

We are continuing to closely monitor the situation relative to COVID-19, including, local, state and federal developments as they arise, and will keep you informed and updated of any changes that may impact our business.
